Terms of sale
What you get when you buy the Magnet Board expansion pack, how paying and refunds work, and who sells it.
In short
- What you buy
- The expansion pack on your Magnet Board account, for as long as the game runs.
- What it costs
- One payment, in Australian dollars, at the price shown in the game before you pay. No subscription and nothing to renew.
- How you pay
- By card on Stripe's own checkout page. Your card details go to Stripe, never to the game.
- Refunds
- Your rights under the Australian Consumer Law always apply. Beyond them, ask within a reasonable time and a refund will usually be given.
What you buy
The expansion pack adds to the game: Classic careers (a career that starts in any season from 1990 to 2026 on that year's lists), custom expansion clubs with their own grounds and crowds, and the expansion side of commissioner mode. Buying it gives the account you bought it with access to those features in the game, on any device you sign in on, for as long as Magnet Board runs.
It is access to features of a game, not a copy of the game or of its files. The features may be improved, fixed and changed over time, as the rest of the game is. If Magnet Board ever closes, the pack closes with it.
The pack belongs to one account. It cannot be moved to another account or resold. Deleting your account removes the pack with it.
Price and payment
The price is shown in the game, in Australian dollars, before you pay. Prices can change, but a change never applies to a pack already bought. If you have a promotion code, type it on the checkout page.
Payment is taken by Stripe, a payment company. You type your card details on Stripe's checkout page, under Stripe's own terms and privacy policy. The game keeps only that your account bought the pack, when, the amount, and Stripe's reference for the payment (see the privacy page).
Getting the pack
The pack is on your account as soon as Stripe says the payment has gone through, usually by the time you are back in the game. If it is not there after a few minutes, get in touch with the address below and say which account you used.
Refunds
The expansion pack comes with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. If it does not work as described, or has a major problem, you are entitled to a fix or a refund.
Beyond what the law requires, if you change your mind or the pack is not what you hoped, ask for a refund within a reasonable time of buying it and one will usually be given. Refunds beyond the law are at the seller's discretion. A refunded pack is taken off the account.
To ask, email the address below with the email address of the account that bought it.
Who sells it
Magnet Board and its expansion pack are made and sold by [the seller's legal name], a sole trader in Australia, ABN [to be added]. Magnet Board is an unofficial fan project and is not affiliated with or endorsed by the AFL, its clubs or the AFL Players' Association.
